Our Craft Show Adventures: Dinosaurs, Dragons & New Friends
This summer has been full of color, conversation, and creativity as we’ve been bringing Sisters Core Art to local craft shows. Every show has been an adventure—packed with surprises, inspiring connections, and so much joy.
The People We Meet
One of the best parts of craft shows is the community. We’ve met so many amazing vendors who were kind enough to share tips about everything from booth setup to wholesale opportunities. Their generosity and encouragement have made this journey even more special. And then, of course, there are the people who stop by our booth—kids wide-eyed at our giant dinosaur paintings, parents looking for that perfect gift, and fellow art lovers who stop to talk about their own creative journeys.
What We Thought Would Sell… vs. What Actually Sold
When we first signed up for shows, we assumed our abstract lake paintings, wildlife art, and floral watercolors would be the favorites. But to our surprise (and delight!) the stars of the show have been our Dinosaurs and Dragons. From toddlers pointing excitedly to adults sharing their love of fantasy, these pieces sparked instant connections.
What We Loved Most
There’s nothing like seeing a child’s face light up when they spot a giant T. Rex painting or a whimsical dragon. We’ve loved watching kids (and more than a few adults!) leave inspired, talking about creating their own art. That spark of creativity—seeing art bring out joy and imagination—is why we do what we do.
Looking Ahead
Each craft show teaches us something new—about our art, our customers, and ourselves. We’re so grateful for this journey and love that we have been able to bring our Dinosaurs, Dragons to our online store, sisterscoreart.com
If you’ve visited us at a fair, thank you for stopping by! And if not, stay tuned—we’ll be sharing updates on our upcoming shows here and on our social media.
